Camping Is Always a Great Idea!

Camping for the weekend reminded me of how much I do enjoy it. Sure we rough it in a tent but we use electricity and water and we like to be in or near a city where there are things to do. Nothing wrong with camping in a city! This weekend our idea was to go to Michigan "Sault" and we found a gem of a campground called Soo Locks.
It was a beautiful weekend...tugboat races, nice warm weather, close to downtown where we toured around a few times in between return trips to relax at our campsite.
So, so beautiful. I love to camp and I think we need to do it more often this summer!
I love these evening photos through this fence. They both capture a little bit of the International Bridge. Can you see it?

It's funny how sitting in the back yard doing nothing can feel extremely boring and yet doing the same thing in a campground (staring at water), you sit back and say, "Ah, isn't this the life!"
Hope you, too, had a great start to July!
