Pollie Ponders...Again

The following was a note on one of my email lists and I thought it was cute. What do you think?

Some of the younger parents on the list are not aware of the BRAIN FAIRY.
When your adorable child turns 13, the Brain Fairy comes to your home and removes the childs GOOD brain and takes it away for safe keeping. In it's place she leaves a barely functional defective brain that she picked up someplace else. Upon turning 21, the Brain Fairy returns the GOOD brain to the child and takes away the defective brain. HOWEVER, occassionally the brain fairy misses a kid or two and then you end up with one of those kids who never grows up.
So, MOMs be prepared, the Brain Fairy cometh.

I sold my software program on ebay! What a thrill! The gentleman who bought it was from Colorado and has already paid me through paypal! Isn't that exciting! Now I'm hooked on ebay and want to sell more. I'm thinking maybe I'll start selling items for people who want to sell something but don't want the hassle so if you have something you want to sell, let me know. Also let me know what you think would be a fair commission. I'd probably take a picture of the item if needed, list it, do all the transaction and actually ship it after so...we'll see. Now I just have to find a digital camera.

By the way, if you'd like your own paypal account just go to www.paypal.com and sign up. A basic account is free and it's getting to be used at more and more websites so it's an ideal way to pay without having to use a credit card. If you do go sign up, I think there might be a spot to say who recommended you and I think we both get $5.00 if you sign up. (Ah..they're all saying---we knew there was a catch to why she was offering this to us!) Seriously, paypal does work. I've used it quite a few times so if you need something like that, check it out.

I just applied for a writing assignment in Huntsville for the US headquarters of Kimberly-Clark so if I do happen to get it, I may be taking a wee trip! Not likely but you never know. They are looking for a writer to save expenses of flying someone in. I'm a bit far but if they're desperate and the pay is good...
